In Barbados, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago, the sister projects REBYC-III CLME+ and EAF4SG are supporting healthier marine ecosystems and better futures for the people and industries connected to the sea by working with fisheries authorities, fishing communities and other regional partners to advance the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries through improved data collection, enhanced stakeholder participation, stronger legal and fisheries management frameworks, reduced bycatch and mitigation of Abandoned, Lost or discarded Fishing Gear.
